Field Report Guidelines

The Field Reports forum is intended exclusively for reporting the details and results of pickup done in-field, hence the title. It is NOT a place to post any of the following:

* Stories of past conquests.
* Text/email/chat/phone conversations.
* Questions about game.

Field Reports may include questions about Sticking Points or the items listed above, only as they pertain to the specific Field Report they are contained in, and/or chronic Sticking Points which the Field Report addresses. i.e. You may post a text conversation that led to a day2 as long as you report the day2 and the SPs encountered in the same post.

The best Field Reports are well-organized: utilizing paragraph breaks, sentence structure, and proper grammar. They make use of descriptive language, accurate dialogue, and appropriate text emphasizers such as indents, bullets, numbers, bold, and italics, when necessary. L33tspeak and other common text/chat styles or shortcuts distract from the readability of the thread. Most Field Reports are as precise and as brief as they can be, without compromising the completeness of the description. Try to emulate/immitate the best Field Reports. Your feedback and readership will increase dramatically.

Reports should NOT contain any personally identifiable information. Posting pictures in a Field Report is fine, but the poster assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for doing so. Post pictures at your own risk! Any post which contain addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information will be deleted. SeeExercise Your Anonymity below.

Do not post anything but a Field Report in the Field Reports forum. Any mis-posts or duplicate posts will be moved or deleted, at the discretion of the Moderators. Repeated or severe offenses will result in disciplinary action up to, and including, permanent ban from Mystery’s Forum.

As is true in all of Mystery’s Forum, the rules of the FAQ will be strictly enforced.

Field Reports have served as one of the best ways for PUAs to share and learn pickup techniques since the beginnings of the Seduction Community. Please show respect for this tradition by posting, responding, and learning from them with absolute honesty and integrity. This is a fantastic free resource for real-life examples of PUAs doing pickup.

Thank you,

MM Moderators

Exercise Your Anonymity

Most PUAs tend to use alter-ego names for their own protection. Many of them work in situations where it would be unsavoury if a co-worker or ex were to find out specifics of their lovelife, in addition to the possibility of a target finding you online. If a target logs online and comes here, and you are caught because said target finds a post referring to them, you have two options-

1) edit your post as much as possible in an attempt to keep damaging information at a minimum. In such case, please message a staff member and note which thread you've edited, so we can keep tabs on what threads are not in their original state.
2) sometimes, sensitive information is quoted by other members. In this case, you are free to PM an admin or a moderator and the staff will address your problem as quickly as possible. If time is of the essence, simply title your post "URGENT".

Another possibility involves a user name change, but that option is at the discretion of MM forum administrators.

We urge you to give out only information that you feel comfortable revealing and to exercise restraint as to how much personal information you give out. Keep in mind that the MM forum staff will never ask you to give out your name or address on the forums, and you have the freedom to decline giving out such things.

Thank you.
